Description: Westraven CHANOIR by Leendert Blok. Ca. 1950 Dutch ceramics. Chanoir is a lava-style textured clay in mottled black exterior with white glazed interiors, and sgraffito exterior lines or other simetrical designs. Rarer types have white and yellow decoration. This collection does have one of such vases, the pyramid shaped (see separate photo). This stunning and unique collection consists of 7 pieces, varying from the largest beaker/vase at 8.25 inches to the smallest at 3 inches. A rare chance to get a great collection of one of Holland's famous mid-century modern ceramic designers.
